The 2023 December month-end potluck dinner started at 6.30 pm after the Children’s Christmas party. It was a large turnout with 70 registered members and guests. There were a large varieties of excellent home cooked meals and desserts.
Everyone enjoyed the delicious food & the dancing that followed with Director Henry Mo who spearheaded the line dancing as always.
It was a wonderful evening at the clubhouse. The children’s party started at 5 pm. We had 17 children attend the party with their parents and grandparents. Each child received a present from Santa William Chong. Sophia Low and Mila Tang entertained the children with games.

2023 November Monthly Potluck
On a cold and rainy November evening, about 40 resilient members gathered for a heartwarming potluck night. Despite the bleak weather outside, the cozy warmth of the community center welcomed everyone with open arms. The sound of laughter and chatter filled the air as people arrived, their spirits undampened by the dreary conditions.
The aroma of homemade dishes wafted through the room, creating an irresistible invitation to indulge in the culinary delights that awaited. Tables were adorned with an assortment of savory and sweet offerings, each dish a labor of love and a reflection of the diverse backgrounds and traditions of the attendees.
From steaming pots of hearty stews to decadent desserts, the spread was a testament to the generosity and creativity of the community. As the night progressed, the room echoed with the clinking of utensils and the contented sighs of satisfied appetites.
Despite the inclement weather, the potluck night proved to be a resounding success, bringing people together in a spirit of camaraderie and goodwill. As the evening drew to a close, the attendees departed with full stomachs, happy memories, and a renewed sense of connection with their fellow neighbors.

MSBCA Vancouver Board of Directors 2023 - 2024
Some MSBCA members joined S.U.C.C.E.S.S. as it celebrated its 50th anniversary year on July 9th 2023 together with a crowd of more than thousands at the Walk with the Dragon fundraiser in Stanley Park this weekend, raising more than $320,000 to continue our community programs.
Walk with the Dragon is S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation’s largest community-based fundraising event. It historically draws several thousand participants and is held in Stanley Park since 1986. Proceeds go directly to support essential S.U.C.C.E.S.S. programs for families, youth, women, and seniors.
Thank you to all of our donors, walkers, sponsors, volunteers, staff and community leaders who helped make the event a success!
We look forward to seeing you all again next year, let’s gather for a good cause.

The MSBCA's Annual Summer BBQ at South Arm Park in Richmond was a vibrant celebration of community and culture set against the backdrop of a perfect summer day in 2023. As the sun shone brightly in the clear sky, members of the association eagerly gathered at the park, their faces lit up with excitement and anticipation.
The air was filled with the sounds of laughter and music, creating a festive atmosphere that was infectious. The aroma of sizzling BBQ chicken, fragrant Char Kuay Teow, and an assortment of sweet treats wafted through the park, enticing everyone to indulge in the culinary delights on offer.
Families and friends mingled, sharing stories and creating new memories as they savored the flavors of the diverse array of ethnic foods available. From the spicy kick of the Char Kuay Teow to the smoky goodness of the BBQ chicken, every bite was a celebration of the rich tapestry of cultures that made up the MSBCA community.
As the day turned to dusk, the park was alive with the sounds of joy and camaraderie. The MSBCA's Annual Summer BBQ had once again succeeded in bringing people together, fostering connections, and creating moments of happiness that would be cherished for years to come.
